Ingredients 1/2 cup of coconut oil 100 g of dark chocolate 1/3 cup of applesauce 1/2 cup of soy milk 1 tsp of vanilla extract 1 cup of all purpose flour 1 cup of sugar 1/2 cup of brown sugar 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts 1/4 cup of cocoa powder 1 tsp of baking soda 1 tsp of salt
StepsPreheat the oven at 375F (190C)In a bowl, melt the coconut oil in the microwave (or saucepan)Add the chocolate and let it melt, you might need to heat the bowl some more to make sure all the chocolate meltsAdd the applesauce, soy milk and vanilla extract and mix wellIn another bowl, mix the all purpose flour, sugar, brown sugar, chopped walnuts, cocoa powder, baking soda and saltAdd the liquid ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix well, ideally 1 minutes in an electric mixerPour the mix in a square baking pan (approx. 8 x 8 inches, 20 x 20 cm) lined with parchment paper. Bake for 30 minutes
